Another year where I get the privilege of doing sound design for, and scaring the kids in, the P.S. 40 haunted house. St. Gaudens was a neighborhood boy, and the castle-like school was built during his lifetime. Be sure to see his work on exhibit at the Met.

If this is your first encounter with LKJ, this anthology is awesome. The closest equivalent to Johnson’s voice is Eric Dolphy’s bass clarinet.
